I have been interested in this subject for many years, but other books I have read tend to be inane and unbelievable. Reading “Reincarnation Cards–Awakening Far Memory” enlightened me to a facet of my being that I never gave credence to. The book is professional, yet understandable. The cards are absolutely beautiful works of art. Instructions are easy to understand, even for someone who is not familiar with the subject. “Reincarnation Cards – Awakening Far Memory” caused me to seriously consider digging deeper into the subject. I would love to hear the authors give a live presentation!

Buddhism is founded upon a belief in reincarnation and that past lives influence how one is born into their present life. Past life regression is a metaphysical belief that we can access our past lives. Now Ger Maa Publishers of Cyprus have published a book-and-card set “Reincarnation Cards: Awakening Far Memory”, the collaborative effort of John Knowles and Linda Leblanc, to help by providing tools for anyone seeking to recover forgotten memories of previous incarnations and past life experiences. The informative hardcover book and the sixty-one full-color illustrated cards are specifically designed to evoke intuitive responses in a personal quest for past life access. Now distributed by Lucky Press for the United States, “Reincarnation Cards: Awakening Far Memory” is a unique and enthusiastically recommended addition to Metaphysical Studies reference collections in general, and the personal libraries of non-specialist general readers with an interest in reincarnation and past life therapies.

This is not a parlor game, any more than are Tarot cards; nor is it New Age crystal sniffing, any more than are ESP or meditation.Despite the hostility of both our educational establishment, and Western institutionalized religions, a large percentage of the world persists in believing in reincarnation.
Recalling past lives, however, is usually a hit-or-miss affair, occurring spontaneously (mostly in early childhood then disappearing from memory) but later in life requiring the aid of a trained therapist/ facilitator. Since there are testable, specific techniques for developing other latent human faculties (e.g., altered states of consciousness, ESP in its many forms) Knowles and Leblanc have applied similar principles to accessing our hidden past life memories.
These unique cards represent symbolic memory templates of specific historical milieus. They are designed to be activated by correctly directed attention … and then voila, the chances are good that deeply hidden (and multiple) memories will rise to the surface and you will finally know who you were and what you did as your former selves (and then you’ll just have to live with it … though that’s another matter.)A fascinating and potentially valuable tool for developing self-knowledge, and for confronting certain persistent life problems and patterns that otherwise resist resolution.

5 out of 5 stars Marzanna Browne Therapeutic and healing! Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 13 September 2020 I find out about my personality good and bad side. Good and bad side of me I collected over the past reincarnations. I use at first 3 cards only. Cards explained my obstacles and blockages at present, what or who can help. Also, cards show possible future solution and advice from past lives. Didnt go over 5 cards as it could be confusing. Cards explain a lot. Helpful.

This is something different. REINCARNATION CARDS® – Awakening Far Memory consists of a boxed set of sixty-one beautifully designed cards, intended to evoke intuitive responses, together with a handsomely produced hardcover book. In his Foreword, Professor Stanley Krippner describes the publication as embodying “an imaginative and novel technique…specifically designed to probe into one’s hypothetical reincarnations.”
Referring to reports of glimpses of events and activities occurring before one was born, he comments that “whether these glimpses represent past-life memories, archetypes of the psyche, or metaphors of current life activities, they can be linked with and evoked by the cards, following the suggested rituals described by the authors.
”This, however, is not the main purpose of this project, which is to provide a means of encouragement to take a fresh look at consciousness, “the pattern of awareness, intention and reflection that permeates the cosmos.” For the authors, the world is not ‘outside’ or ‘external’, except apparently to the physical body. They maintain that consciousness is “primal and ubiquitous”, that the universe is not ‘out there’ but ‘in here’, not composed “of an hypothesized matter, but is the manifestation in time and space of one infinite superconscious Being, or Cosmic Mind.”
They continue: “This Cosmic Mind, to which the individual’s conscious and unconscious egoic mind are essentially connected, contains all knowledge of all creatures and events, past, present and future, in a timeless NOW. In relation to you as an individual, high-level being, it contains, inter alia, your complete incarnational history, past and future.”Whether or not you agree with the authors that “the reincarnation experience is a fact,”(you will need to study their chapter “The Evidence” to help you make up your mind) or whether you accept the “unimpeachable stratigraphic evidence of the presence of anatomically modern humans on this earth many millions of years ago,” the Reincarnation cards themselves can provoke you into new ways of considering yourself and lead you into areas you have never previously explored.
The cards are divided into five categories: Occupation, Culture, Environment, Theme and Termination. You are advised to keep notes, state your intention, ask for guidance, shuffle the cards and allow your hand to select one from each of the five groups. Then you turn to the book and read the text associated with each card. The authors take care to advise you how to proceed by recording your intuitive responses and your impressions, the resonances that each card may evoke.
They also suggest that you consider each card in the context of the others that you draw.For every card there is an accompanying short essay which guides you in an interpretation of the information or message that the card conveys. In a final essay, the authors explain that the cards “are intended not only to help you to recall details of so-called incarnations, but also to awaken your intuition to the full, leading to a direct insight into what is ultimately real, behind all such phenomena.
You will then know that, as consciousness itself, you are essentially identical to the Logos or Brahman, the One Cosmic Mind.” In the nine pages of this essay the authors develop their view of the Cosmic Self and the Cosmic Mind. They attack the common belief that the individual is an unchanging soul-personality “wandering through the incarnations in search of ‘enlightenment’”. If you believe yourself to be “a seeker on the Path,” you will continue going round in circles “until you realize who you really are and have always been.”
They maintain that there is no Path, no Goal, no progress and no spiritual evolution. “The final truth is that there is, and can be, only the One Mind, the ultimate Self of All, in an Eternal Now, and you are That.” By creating Time and by focusing on “the vastly shrunken individual level,” we have forgotten who we really are.
Awakening Far Memory displays a remarkable depth of knowledge of ancient history and philosophy, much of it drawn from the authors’ extensive research library, and is buttressed by a bibliography of some 130 items. It challenges its readers, requiring them to investigate their own thought processes and to open themselves to possibilities they may never have previously considered. In this, it fully justifies its unusual presentation.
John Knowles is a Canadian philosopher and parapsychologist. He served in the Royal Canadian Air Force from 1941-45, as a Hurricane pilot and in 1944 as a Chindit operating behind enemy lines in Burma. Post-war he worked in senior posts in varying capacities for the Canadian government and the United Nations, serving in some seventy countries around the world. His philosophical essays have appeared in British, American and Cypriot journals. His interests are shared with his wife Linda, herself a published writer and lecturer, recently elected as the first foreign-born female ex-pat local counsellor in Cyprus.

You will know you have something special in your hands when you first hold the box that encompasses the book AWAKENING FAR MEMORY and the beautifully crafted REINCARNATION CARDS that accompany it. But proceed slowly, for you’ll want to place yourself in the proper frame of mind when you start to work with the cards. Yes, I said work. As the authors remind us, the cards are not a type of game but a powerful tool offering insight and knowledge into “the circumstances of other apparent embodiments”.
But that’s not to say that the book is not extremely deep. What it is is a well researched examination of the idea of reincarnation. By slowly investing us with knowledge on this subject we are given the chance to weigh our current beliefs with what the authors proffer. This works superbly as a lead up to how you use the cards.Having a desire to find out where and what we may have been in a previous incarnation usually goes hand in hand with bits of mystery about our current embodiment.
What you say, you have no bits of mystery? Well much to your delight when you’ve chosen a card from each of the five groups and go back to read about their basic meanings, questions will be answered that you haven’t even asked.So, find a quiet time and place and bring the book and the cards. Should you choose, add your pendulum to these and maybe even a little incense to create a “far memory” mood.
Let your mind take in the information and combine it with some personal resonance. Becoming one with the Universe its past, present, and future will ensure that secrets are revealed to help in this incarnation and those to come.

Not a game, but rather a serious research tool to accelerate spiritual growth. The aim of the authors in their own words is: ” to attract and to provide a research tool for people who are interested in the reincarnation phenomenon, for reasons of personal curiosity; and, on a deeper level, to satisfy those who are genuinely looking for understandable answers to ultimate philosophical questions.
All such questions are answered in the final chapter, The Secret (a great piece of insight!), and in the quotations on unnumbered page 168, as well as in the Glossary. In the Foreword, Stanley Krippner, professor of Transpersonal Psychology, called it, inter alia, a “stunning consciousness-expanding work”.
He also described the Glossary as “an education in itself”. It took the authors four long years of study, research and hard work, to bring this project to fruition. They had been Arcturus Books clients for almost two decades, and they found, at least in part, many sources for their research and inspiration, through many of Arcturus’s books.
The research and studies that went into this work are self-evident and so the cards become a great tool for those who are seriously studying the subject of reincarnation as well as Metaphysics and spiritual knowledge. Curious and seeker of Truth as I am, I’ve been having a great time with these cards, both using my inquisitive mind and, on the other hand, sharing them with friends, since they can be entertaining and fun, at the same time that it leads you to deepen your own search for answers to those important subjects.
So if you are a little bit like me, you will find them very interesting and a tool for learning too! $34.95

The information that is included in this book is well written and clearly understandable. I am amazed at the intellectual theory in this book! I would highly suggest that you wake up your memories with these cards. Every few days I bring them out and add more information to my journal and it is incredible how all of a sudden you start having a picture of a previous life!
